How to: Bobble Stitch
- Yarn over, insert hook into the next stitch, and yarn over.
- Pull yarn through, yarn over again and pull through two stitches.
- Repeat the first two steps twice in the same stitch until 4 stitches are on the hook.
- Yarn over and pull through all stitches.
How to: Double Crochet Decrease
- Yarn over, then insert the hook into the next two front loops, leaving 4 stitches on the hook. Yarn over and pull through two stitches, leaving 3.
- Yarn over and pull through two stitches, leaving 2.
- Yarn over and pull through the final two stitches, leaving 1.

Bulbasaur’s Bulb
Malachite (Dark Green), 6.0 mm hook.
DC INC: two double crochet stitches in one stitch. DC DEC: double crochet two stitches together. Attach the bulb with hot glue.
Bulbasaur’s Ears
Baby Green, 6.0 mm hook. Stitch directly into the ear area.
Loop the loose strand from the beginning of the yarn into the loop on your hook and tie off.
How to Make the Mouth
The mouth uses five placement points.
- From the side, insert the needle and exit at the second point.
- Insert back into the first point and exit at the middle point. Insert into point 2 and exit at point 4. Insert into the middle and exit at point 5. Insert into point 4 and exit at point 1.
- Tie the adjacent loose strands, hide the thread in the body, and adjust the smile with the needle as needed.
How to Attach the Eyes
- Place the eyes where you want them.
- Remove an eye and squeeze hot glue into the spot.
- Put the eye back, push and secure.
