Donut A: Chenille Home - Vineyard Green + Sand.

Donut B: Chenille Home - Sand + Rhubarb.

Decorations: Skinny Chenille - Duckling; Petite Purl - Rhubarb, Winter White and Forest Green.

Legs/face: Petite Purl - Cappuccino.

You can substitute yarn, but changing yarn weight or hook size will change the finished size and texture.

Assembly

Embroider the Mouth

Use three main points for the smile, with the middle point lower than the other two. Work from the middle to the left, then from the right back through the middle. Pass the needle under the smile line and pull it down at the middle point. Hide the yarn and adjust as needed.

Attach Donut Pieces & Close the Donut

  1. Wrap a perforated piece around the donut and thread the sewing needle with its long yarn tail.
  2. Use the same sewing method to close the donut.
  3. Work between the matching stitches on both sides.
  4. Repeat to the end, tie off and trim.
  5. Use a hook to pull stray yarn into the donut body.

Attach the Bow + Decorations

  1. Tri-fold the bow strip, stacking the slip-stitched portions.
  2. Wrap yarn around the middle 4-6 times and tie off.
  3. Sew the bow/decorations to the perforated donut pieces, working back and forth through the same attachment points.
  4. Tighten, tie off, trim, and hide the yarn inside the donut.
